BLS International Services Reports Strong Financial Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses in March 2025

BLS International Services has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing notable developments within the company. The evaluation changes reflect a score adjustment to 15 from 13 over the past three months, indicating a shift in assessment based on the latest financial data.
The financial performance highlights several positive trends. Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) reached Rs 141.81 crore, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 80.90%. Additionally, net sales hit a record high of Rs 692.77 crore, with a year-on-year increase of 54.74%. This upward trajectory in sales has been consistent, as it has grown each quarter over the last five quarters. Profit After Tax (PAT) also demonstrated strong performance, amounting to Rs 135.14 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 67.3%. Furthermore, the operating profit (PBDIT) reached its highest level in five quarters at Rs 174.09 crore.

However, there are aspects that warrant attention. Interest expenses have surged to Rs 20.10 crore, representing a significant increase of 161.72% compared to the previous half-year period, indicating a rise in borrowing costs. Additionally, non-operating income has reached Rs 24.84 crore, the highest in five quarters, though its sustainability may be in question.
