Brahmaputra Infrastructure Reports Strong Financial Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses in June 2025

Brahmaputra Infrastructure, a microcap player in the construction industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The company has experienced notable financial performance, with significant growth in key metrics. Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 17.44 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 100.23%. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 15.04 crore, marking an impressive increase of 121.8% compared to the previous year.
Net sales for the latest six months amounted to Rs 195.24 crore, showcasing a year-on-year growth of 46.37%. The company's operating profit to interest ratio has also reached its highest level in the last five quarters at 4.98 times, indicating an enhanced ability to manage interest payments. Additionally, cash and cash equivalents have improved, reaching Rs 29.32 crore, the highest in the last six half-yearly periods, suggesting better short-term liquidity.

However, the company has faced challenges as well, particularly with interest expenses, which have grown by 87.47% over the previous half-year period, indicating increased borrowings. As a result, Brahmaputra Infrastructure has seen an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score falling to 23 from 26 over the last three months.
