Campus Activewear Reports Decline in Key Financial Metrics Amid Increased Borrowing in August 2025

Campus Activewear has announced its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing declines in key metrics. Profit Before Tax and Profit After Tax have decreased significantly, while net sales also fell. Interest expenses increased, and non-operating income reached a five-quarter high, though its future remains uncertain.
Campus Activewear, a small-cap player in the footwear industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results, declared on August 13, 2025, indicate a notable shift in the company's financial evaluation. The overall score has experienced a revision, reflecting the challenges faced during this period.

The financial metrics reveal a decline in key areas. Profit Before Tax (PBT) stands at Rs 24.24 crore, which represents a significant reduction compared to the average PBT of Rs 37.31 crore over the previous four quarters. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) has also seen a decrease, recorded at Rs 22.20 crore against an average of Rs 30.30 crore in the prior quarters. Net Sales have followed this trend, reported at Rs 343.27 crore, down from an average of Rs 398.24 crore.

Interestingly, interest expenses have shown an upward trend, reaching Rs 11.27 crore, indicating increased borrowings. Additionally, non-operating income has peaked at Rs 6.14 crore, the highest in the last five quarters, although its sustainability remains uncertain.

In light of these developments, Campus Activewear's evaluation has undergone adjustments, reflecting the current financial landscape.
