Cartrade Tech Reports Strong Sales Growth Amid Rising Debt Concerns in June 2025 Results

Cartrade Tech, a midcap player in the E-Retail/E-Commerce industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The company has demonstrated notable financial performance, with net sales reaching Rs 518.77 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 21.95%. This positive trend in sales is complemented by a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 31.45 crore, which shows a growth of 27.8% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters.
Additionally, Cartrade Tech achieved a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 42.87 crore, marking the highest figure in the last five quarters and a growth of 27.4% over the previous four-quarter average. The earnings per share (EPS) also reached a peak of Rs 9.03, indicating increased profitability and enhanced earnings for shareholders.

However, the company faces challenges as well. The debt-equity ratio has risen to 0.06 times, indicating a growing reliance on borrowing to fund operations, which may impact liquidity. Furthermore, non-operating income constitutes 44.74% of PBT, suggesting a reliance on income from non-business activities, which may not be sustainable in the long term.

In light of these developments, Cartrade Tech has experienced adjustments in its evaluation.
