Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals has recently released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, with the announcement made on May 8, 2025. The company operates within the fertilizers industry and is classified as a large-cap entity. In this quarter, Chambal Fert. reported a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 112.45 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 78.75%. Additionally, the profit after tax (PAT) reached Rs 130.36 crore, marking a year-on-year increase of 34.7%. These figures indicate a positive near-term trend in profitability metrics.
However, the company faced challenges in its sales performance. Net sales for the quarter were recorded at Rs 2,448.73 crore, the lowest in the past five quarters, and represented a year-on-year decline of 7.35%. Furthermore, the operating profit (PBDIT) also hit a low of Rs 163.36 crore in the same period, suggesting a negative trend in operational efficiency.
As a result of these mixed financial outcomes, Chambal Fert. has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting a notable change over the last three months.
