Chartered Logistics Reports Significant Profit Growth Amid Concerns Over Income Sustainability in July'25

Chartered Logistics, a microcap company in the transport services industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results, declared on July 31, 2025, indicate a notable shift in the company's evaluation, with its score improving significantly from -11 to 1 over the past three months.
The financial data reveals that Chartered Logistics achieved a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 2.02 crore, marking a substantial growth of 485.5% compared to the average PAT of Rs 0.35 crore from the previous four quarters. This quarter's PAT is also the highest recorded in the last five quarters, suggesting a positive near-term trend in profitability. Additionally, the earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 0.17, the highest in the same five-quarter span, indicating an increase in earnings for shareholders.

However, the company faces challenges as well. A significant portion of its profit before tax (PBT), approximately 90.27%, is derived from non-operating income, raising concerns about the sustainability of its business model.
