Chemfab Alkalis has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing its highest quarterly net sales in five quarters at Rs 92.32 crore. However, the profit after tax has declined significantly to Rs 0.70 crore, alongside rising interest expenses and a low earnings per share of Rs -6.40.
Chemfab Alkalis, a small-cap player in the commodity chemicals industry, has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company has experienced a notable shift in its evaluation, with its score adjusting to -22 from -20 over the past three months.

On a positive note, Chemfab Alkalis achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 92.32 crore. Additionally, the operating profit also marked a peak at Rs 13.33 crore during the same period, indicating a favorable near-term trend in sales and operating performance. The company's ability to settle its debtors more swiftly is reflected in a strong debtors turnover ratio of 16.10 times, the highest in the last five half-yearly periods.

Conversely, the financial results reveal challenges as well. The profit after tax (PAT) has seen a significant decline, recorded at Rs 0.70 crore, which is a stark contrast to the average PAT of Rs 1.92 crore from the previous four quarters. Furthermore, the interest expense has risen to Rs 1.57 crore, marking the highest level in five quarters, suggesting increased borrowings. The earnings per share (EPS) have also reached a low of Rs -6.40, indicating declining profitability.
