Chennai Ferrous Industries Reports Strong Sales Growth Amid Declining Profitability Challenges in March 2025
Chennai Ferrous Industries, operating in the Non-Ferrous Metals sector, has released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported net sales of Rs 57.77 crore, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of 165.73%. This positive sales trend indicates a robust demand for its products in the near term.However, the financial results also highlight several challenges for Chennai Ferrous. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the nine-month period stands at Rs 2.28 crore, showing a year-on-year decline of 33.53%. Additionally, the operating profit has reached its lowest point in the last five quarters at Rs 0.82 crore, accompanied by a decrease in the operating profit margin to 1.42%. This suggests a decline in the company's operational efficiency. Furthermore, the Profit Before Tax (PBT) has also hit a low of Rs 0.52 crore, and the Earnings per Share (EPS) is at Rs 0.53, marking a downturn in profitability.
