Cholamandalam Investment Reports Strong Q3 Results with Record Sales and Profitability Metrics
Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company has reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, showcasing a positive trajectory in several key metrics. The company achieved net sales of Rs 6,732.98 crore, marking the highest figure in the last five quarters, with a consistent upward trend observed each quarter. Operating profit also reached a peak at Rs 4,694.88 crore, reflecting a similar pattern of growth over the past five quarters. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 1,088.21 crore, again the highest in the last five quarters, indicating a favorable trend in profitability. Earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 12.94, demonstrating an increase in earnings for shareholders. Additionally, cash and cash equivalents were reported at Rs 8,709.19 crore, the highest in the last six half-yearly periods, suggesting an improvement in short-term liquidity.
However, the company noted that non-operating income, while at its highest at Rs 103.78 crore in the last five quarters, may not be sustainable in the long term.
In light of these developments, Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company has experienced adjustments in its evaluation, reflecting the overall performance in its recent financial results.
