Chrome Silicon Reports Significant Decline in Financial Metrics for March 2025

Chrome Silicon, a microcap company in the ferrous metals industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results indicate a significant decline in various financial metrics compared to the same period last year.
Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 5.04 crore, reflecting a substantial year-on-year decrease. This marks the lowest sales figure recorded in the past five quarters, suggesting a challenging sales environment for the company. Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) was reported at Rs -75.05 crore, also the lowest in the last five quarters, indicating a notable shift in profitability dynamics. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) reached Rs -74.78 crore, which represents a significant decline in earnings compared to the previous year.

Operating profit and operating profit margin figures also reached their lowest points in five quarters, highlighting a deterioration in operational efficiency. Additionally, the Earnings per Share (EPS) fell to Rs -45.60, further underscoring the challenges faced by the company in generating shareholder value.
