Coforge Reports Record High Net Sales and Profit Metrics Amid Rising Interest Costs in March 2025

Coforge, a prominent player in the IT software industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company has experienced notable developments in its financial metrics, leading to an adjustment in its evaluation score, which has risen to 16 from 11 over the past three months.
The quarterly net sales reached a record high of Rs 3,409.90 crore, reflecting consistent growth over the last five quarters. This positive trend is further supported by a significant increase in profit before tax less other income (PBT), which stood at Rs 360.50 crore, marking a substantial rise compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Additionally, the operating profit reached its highest level in five quarters at Rs 527.00 crore, indicating a strong operational performance.

Coforge also reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 260.11 crore, the highest in the last five quarters, showcasing a robust increase compared to prior averages. The earnings per share (EPS) also reached a peak at Rs 39.04, highlighting the company's ability to generate higher earnings for its shareholders.

However, the company noted an increase in interest costs, which reached Rs 39.70 crore, indicating a rise in borrowings. This aspect may warrant attention as it could impact future financial strategies.
