Cummins India Reports Strong Financial Results, Highlights Operational Efficiency and Liquidity Improvements in June 2025

Cummins India has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, showcasing a notable performance in various key metrics. The company has experienced a significant adjustment in its evaluation, with its score rising to 11 from 2 over the past three months, reflecting a positive shift in its financial standing.
The operating cash flow reached an impressive Rs 1,684.86 crore, marking the highest level in the last three years, indicating robust cash generation from business operations. Additionally, the operating profit (PBDIT) for the quarter stood at Rs 623.50 crore, the highest in the last five quarters, suggesting a favorable trend in operational efficiency. The operating profit margin also peaked at 21.45%, further highlighting improvements in the company's efficiency.

Profit before tax (PBT) and profit after tax (PAT) both reached their highest levels in the last five quarters, at Rs 638.20 crore and Rs 594.21 crore, respectively. Earnings per share (EPS) also saw a peak at Rs 21.79, reflecting enhanced profitability for shareholders. Furthermore, cash and cash equivalents reached Rs 2,510.29 crore, indicating improved short-term liquidity.

However, it is worth noting that the increase in non-operating income, which reached Rs 133.88 crore, may not be sustainable in the long term.
