DCM Shriram Industries has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing notable shifts in its performance metrics. The company's evaluation has undergone a revision, with its score adjusting to reflect recent trends.

On a positive note, DCM Shriram Industries has achieved its highest cash and cash equivalents in the last six half-yearly periods, amounting to Rs 71.74 crore, indicating an improvement in short-term liquidity. However, the financial results also highlight several challenges. The profit before tax less other income (PBT) has shown a significant decline, recorded at Rs 23.04 crore, which is the lowest in the last five quarters. This trend is mirrored in the profit after tax (PAT), which has also decreased to Rs 16.87 crore, marking a concerning shift in profitability.

Additionally, the company has experienced an increase in interest costs, with quarterly interest rising to Rs 10.58 crore, suggesting a rise in borrowings. The operating profit to interest ratio has reached its lowest point in five quarters, indicating challenges in managing interest payments. Furthermore, earnings per share (EPS) have fallen to Rs 1.94, reflecting a decline in profitability for shareholders.
