Dilip Buildcon Reports Significant Profit Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses in March 2025 Results

Dilip Buildcon, a midcap player in the Capital Goods industry, has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's evaluation, with the score reflecting an adjustment from 11 to 16 over the past three months.
The financial performance showcases significant growth in key areas. Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) reached Rs 264.59 crore, marking a substantial year-on-year increase of 2242.43%. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 142.41 crore, exhibiting an impressive year-on-year growth of 4062.6%. Additionally, the Operating Profit to Interest ratio has improved, now at 2.14 times, indicating enhanced capacity to manage interest obligations. The Operating Profit (PBDIT) also reached its highest level in the last five quarters at Rs 660.92 crore.

However, not all aspects are favorable. The interest expense for the nine-month period has risen to Rs 951.62 crore, reflecting a 20.05% increase, suggesting higher borrowing costs. Furthermore, net sales for the quarter were reported at Rs 3,096.10 crore, which represents a decline of 8.01% year-on-year.
