DLF's Q2 FY25 financials show significant improvement with 94.1% increase in PAT
DLF, a leading construction and real estate company, has recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company has shown a positive performance with a score of 16, a significant improvement from -3 in the last 3 months.
One of the key highlights of the financials is the growth in Profit After Tax (PAT) which has increased by 94.1% to Rs 1,381.08 crore compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters which was Rs 711.43 crore. This indicates a very positive trend in the near term for the company. Similarly, the Net Sales have also shown a growth of 24.1% to Rs 1,975.02 crore compared to the average Net Sales of the previous four quarters which was Rs 1,591.53 crore.
DLF has also achieved its highest PAT in the last five quarters, further strengthening its positive trend in the near term. The company has also shown an increase in Earnings per Share (EPS) to Rs 5.58, indicating a higher profitability and creating value for its shareholders.
However, one area of concern for DLF is its Non Operating Income, which is 35.69% of the Profit Before Tax (PBT). This suggests that the company’s income from non-business activities is high, which may not be a sustainable business model.
MarketsMOJO has given a ‘Hold’ call for DLF’s stock, taking into consideration its financial performance and other factors. With its positive financial results and a strong position in the construction and real estate industry, DLF continues to be a key player in the market.
