E-Land Apparel Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Rising Costs and Declining Profitability in June 2025
E-Land Apparel has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a complex picture of performance within the garments and apparel industry. The company's net sales for the nine-month period reached Rs 243.52 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 21.76%, indicating a positive trend in sales activity.However, the financial results also highlight significant challenges. The profit before tax less other income (PBT) for the quarter was recorded at Rs -7.20 crore, marking a substantial decline compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs -5.07 crore, which also represents a notable decrease from prior averages.
Additionally, the company's interest expenses have risen to Rs 4.56 crore, suggesting increased borrowing costs. The operating profit margin has reached its lowest point in five quarters at -4.02%, indicating a decline in operational efficiency. Furthermore, the earnings per share (EPS) has also fallen to Rs -1.06, reflecting a decrease in profitability for shareholders.
In light of these developments, E-Land Apparel has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting these shifts in financial performance.
