Excel Realty N Infra Reports Mixed Financial Results for Q2 FY24-25, Highlights Profitability Gains and Cash Flow Concerns

Excel Realty N Infra has released its financial results for the second quarter of FY24-25, showcasing a range of performance metrics that highlight underlying trends. The company has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting a shift in its score over the past three months.
Among the key highlights, Excel Realty reported its highest quarterly Operating Profit (PBDIT) in the last five quarters, recorded at Rs -0.33 crore. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) also reached Rs -0.38 crore, marking a peak for the same period. Additionally, the Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 1.10 crore, indicating a notable enhancement in profitability. The Earnings per Share (EPS) improved to Rs 0.01, suggesting better earnings for shareholders.

Despite these positive indicators, Excel Realty faces ongoing challenges. The annual Operating Cash Flow has declined to Rs -7.12 crore, the lowest level in three years, which points to a decrease in cash revenues from business operations. Moreover, the company's Non-Operating Income has surged to 141.30% of PBT, with a quarterly high of Rs 1.30 crore, raising questions about the sustainability of this income source.
