Exide Industries Reports Strong Financial Results Amid Debt Collection Challenges in June 2025
Exide Industries has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing notable developments in its performance metrics. The company achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 4,695.12 crore, indicating a positive near-term sales trend. Additionally, Exide Industries recorded its highest operating profit at Rs 538.34 crore, with an operating profit margin of 11.47%, suggesting enhanced efficiency.The profit before tax (PBT) also saw significant growth, reaching Rs 357.34 crore, which is a 34.5% increase compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) hit Rs 272.99 crore, reflecting a 37.4% rise over the prior average. The earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 3.21, marking the highest level in the last five quarters and indicating improved profitability for shareholders.
However, the company faced challenges with its debtors turnover ratio, which was recorded at its lowest in the last five half-yearly periods, suggesting a slowdown in the pace of settling debts.
In light of these results, Exide Industries has experienced adjustments in its evaluation, reflecting the shifts in its financial landscape.
