Forbes & Company, a microcap player in the engineering and industrial equipment sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's evaluation, with a revision in its score reflecting recent performance metrics.

The company achieved a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 9.50 crore, marking an 85.7% growth compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters. This figure represents the highest PAT recorded in the last five quarters, suggesting a positive near-term trend in profitability. Additionally, the Earnings per Share (EPS) reached Rs 7.36, also the highest in the last five quarters, indicating enhanced earnings for shareholders.

Conversely, the financial results reveal challenges as well. Net Sales for the quarter stood at Rs 40.23 crore, which represents a decline of 5.0% from the average of the previous four quarters. Furthermore, a significant portion of the company's income is derived from non-operating activities, accounting for 73.24% of Profit Before Tax (PBT), raising concerns about the sustainability of this income source.
