Goldiam International Reports Strong Q4 Results with Record Sales and Profit Growth

Goldiam International, a midcap player in the diamond and gold jewellery industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The company has experienced a notable shift in its evaluation, with a revision in its score reflecting the strong performance during this period.
The financial highlights reveal a robust growth trajectory. Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) reached Rs 60.86 crore, marking a significant year-on-year increase. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 49.73 crore, also showing impressive growth compared to the previous year. Net sales hit a record high of Rs 279.63 crore, indicating a positive trend in revenue generation.

Operating profit reached its peak at Rs 62.51 crore, with an operating profit margin of 22.35%, showcasing enhanced efficiency. Additionally, earnings per share (EPS) rose to Rs 4.66, reflecting the company's ability to generate higher returns for shareholders. The cash and cash equivalents also reached a high of Rs 173.20 crore, indicating improved short-term liquidity.

While the company has shown strong performance, it is worth noting that the increase in non-operating income may not be sustainable in the long run.
