The profit before tax and after tax have both seen a significant decline, along with a decrease in net sales and operating profit. The company's efficiency and profitability have also been affected, leading to a 'Sell' call from MarketsMojo.

Goodyear India, a smallcap company in the tyre industry, has recently declared its financial results for the quarter ending March 2024. According to the latest report, the company has seen a negative financial performance, with a score of -18 compared to -12 in the previous quarter.

The profit before tax (PBT) has fallen by 122.3% to Rs -9.06 crore, which is significantly lower than the average PBT of the previous four quarters at Rs 40.56 crore. This indicates a very negative trend in the near term. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) has also fallen by 112.7% to Rs -4.21 crore, compared to the average PAT of Rs 33.17 crore in the previous four quarters.

The net sales for the quarter have also seen a decline of 17.0% at Rs 550.53 crore, compared to the average net sales of Rs 663.44 crore in the previous four quarters. This is the lowest net sales in the last five quarters, indicating a negative trend in the near term. The operating profit (PBDIT) has also hit a low of Rs 5.38 crore, further highlighting the negative trend in the company's financial performance.

The operating profit margin has also reached its lowest at 0.98%, indicating a deterioration in the company's efficiency. The PBT has also hit a low of Rs -9.06 crore, which is the lowest in the last five quarters. The earnings per share (EPS) have also declined to Rs -1.82, indicating a decline in profitability and lower earnings for shareholders.

Based on these financial results, MarketsMOJO has given a 'Sell' call for Goodyear India's stock. The company will need to address these negative trends and improve its financial performance in the upcoming quarters to regain investor confidence.
