HDFC AMC Reports Record Q3 FY24-25 Sales Amid Liquidity Challenges
HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) has reported its financial results for the third quarter of FY24-25, with results announced on January 14, 2025. The company achieved net sales of Rs 934.63 crore, reflecting a notable growth compared to the average net sales of the previous four quarters. This figure marks the highest quarterly sales recorded in the last five quarters.Operating profit also reached a record high of Rs 763.88 crore, showcasing a strong operating profit margin. Profit before tax, excluding other income, was reported at Rs 746.76 crore, indicating a significant increase over the average PBT of the previous four quarters. The profit after tax reached Rs 641.36 crore, with earnings per share hitting Rs 30.00, both representing the highest figures in the last five quarters.
Despite these positive results, HDFC AMC is facing challenges with its cash and cash equivalents, which have fallen to Rs 2.96 crore, the lowest level in the last six half-yearly periods. This situation suggests a shift in the company's short-term liquidity position. Additionally, the overall evaluation of HDFC AMC has undergone an adjustment, reflecting changes in its assessment over the past three months.
