Heritage Foods Reports Mixed Financial Results Amidst Sales Growth and Profit Decline in June 2025

Heritage Foods has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a complex picture of performance within the FMCG sector. The company achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 1,136.76 crore, indicating a positive near-term sales trend. However, this positive aspect is contrasted by notable challenges in profitability metrics.
The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 49.68 crore, reflecting a significant year-on-year decline of 31.21%. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) was recorded at Rs 40.55 crore, down by 30.6% compared to the previous year. Additionally, the operating profit, measured as PBDIT, fell to Rs 73.89 crore, marking the lowest level in the last five quarters, with the operating profit margin also declining to 6.50%.

Furthermore, the annual Dividend Payout Ratio has reached its lowest point in five years at 12.32%, indicating a reduced distribution of profits as dividends. These evaluation changes highlight the mixed performance of Heritage Foods, prompting a revision in its score.
