Hitachi Energy India Reports Strong Q4 Results Amid Liquidity Concerns

Hitachi Energy India has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, showcasing a notably positive performance. The company's score has undergone an adjustment in evaluation, reflecting a shift from 19 to 24 over the past three months.
In terms of profitability, Hitachi Energy's Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 131.95 crore, marking a significant growth compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters, which stood at Rs 66.32 crore. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter was recorded at Rs 137.38 crore, demonstrating a remarkable increase over the average PAT of Rs 49.84 crore from the prior four quarters. This quarter's PAT is the highest observed in the last five quarters, indicating a strong upward trend.

On the sales front, the company reported net sales of Rs 3,174.01 crore for the half-year, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 26.85%. Additionally, the Earnings per Share (EPS) reached its peak at Rs 32.40 in the last five quarters, suggesting enhanced profitability for shareholders.

However, it is important to note that the company's cash and cash equivalents have reached their lowest level in the last six half-yearly periods, indicating a potential concern regarding short-term liquidity.
