HLE Glascoat Reports Flat Q3 FY24-25 Results Amid Mixed Profitability Trends

HLE Glascoat, a small-cap player in the engineering and industrial equipment sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The results indicate a flat performance for Q3 FY24-25, with notable evaluation changes reflected in its score, which has seen a revision from 4 to -1 over the past three months.
On a positive note, the company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 21.18 crore for the half-year period, showcasing a year-on-year growth of 26.25%. This suggests a favorable near-term trend in profitability. Additionally, HLE Glascoat achieved a debtor turnover ratio of 6.48 times, marking the highest level in the last five half-yearly periods, indicating improved efficiency in settling receivables.

Conversely, the financial results also highlight challenges. The profit before tax (PBT), excluding other income, stood at Rs 9.48 crore, reflecting a decline of 24.4% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters. Furthermore, net sales for the quarter were reported at Rs 231.03 crore, which is 8.4% lower than the average net sales of the preceding four quarters.
