HMA Agro Industries Reports Declining Financial Metrics Amid Operational Challenges in June 2025

HMA Agro Industries has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing notable challenges within its operations. The company, operating in the FMCG sector, has experienced a significant adjustment in its evaluation, with its score declining to -4 from -2 over the past three months.
The financial metrics indicate a concerning trend. Profit Before Tax (PBT) has recorded a substantial decline, standing at Rs -9.90 crore, which reflects a stark contrast to the average PBT of Rs 11.06 crore from the previous four quarters. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) has also seen a considerable drop, reported at Rs 0.81 crore, compared to an average of Rs 21.70 crore in the prior periods.

Net Sales have followed suit, with a reported figure of Rs 1,122.61 crore, down from an average of Rs 1,283.25 crore over the last four quarters. Additionally, the company's reliance on non-operating income, which constitutes a significant percentage of its PBT, raises concerns regarding the sustainability of its business model. The Earnings per Share (EPS) has reached its lowest point in five quarters, indicating a decline in profitability and lower returns for shareholders.
