Honasa Consumer Reports Stable Financial Performance Amid Concerns Over Non-Operating Income, March 2025

Honasa Consumer, a midcap player in the FMCG sector, has released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported a stable financial performance during this period, with notable adjustments in its evaluation. The score has shifted positively to 0 from a previous -6 over the last three months.
The financial results highlight a significant growth in Profit Before Tax (PBT), which reached Rs 11.39 crore, reflecting a 131.4% increase compared to the average PBT of Rs 4.92 crore from the previous four quarters. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) also showed a positive trend, amounting to Rs 24.98 crore, which is a 27.8% increase over the average PAT of Rs 19.55 crore from the prior four quarters.

However, the results also indicate some concerns. Non-Operating Income constituted 64.59% of the PBT, with the company recording its highest non-operating income at Rs 20.78 crore in the last five quarters. This reliance on income from non-business activities raises questions about the sustainability of the business model.
