HP Adhesives Reports Mixed Financial Results Amidst Sales Growth and Profitability Challenges in December'24
HP Adhesives has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, revealing a mix of trends within its performance metrics. The company achieved net sales of Rs 65.75 crore, marking the highest quarterly sales in the past five quarters, indicating a positive near-term sales trend. However, the financial results also highlight challenges, particularly in profitability measures. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the half-year stood at Rs 8.08 crore, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 21.46%. Additionally, the quarterly Operating Profit (PBDIT) reached its lowest point in five quarters at Rs 5.98 crore, accompanied by a decrease in the Operating Profit Margin to 9.10%. This suggests a decline in operational efficiency. Furthermore, the Profit Before Tax (PBT) was recorded at Rs 4.23 crore, also the lowest in the last five quarters, while Earnings per Share (EPS) fell to Rs 0.43, indicating a reduction in profitability for shareholders.
