I T D C Shows Flat Performance in Q2, Strong Operating Cash Flow and Sales Growth

India Tourism Development Corporation (I T D C) has recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company, which operates in the hotel, resort, and restaurant industry, has been classified as a smallcap company.

According to the financial report, I T D C has shown a flat performance in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025. However, there has been a significant improvement in the company's overall score, which has increased from -11 to 4 in the last three months.

One of the key factors contributing to this improvement is the company's strong operating cash flow, which has been the highest in the last three years at Rs 46.35 crore. This indicates that I T D C has generated higher cash revenues from its business operations.

In terms of sales, the company has also shown a positive trend with the highest net sales of Rs 153.66 crore in the last five quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) has also seen a positive trend with the highest value of Rs 24.00 crore in the last five quarters, showing a growth of 24.4% year on year.

However, there are some areas where I T D C needs to improve, as highlighted by the financial report. The profit before tax (PBT) less other income has fallen by -16.53% year on year, indicating a negative trend in the near term. Additionally, the non-operating income has increased, but it may not be sustainable in the long run.
