Info Edge Reports Record Profit After Tax Amid Rising Non-Operating Income Concerns in May 2025

Info Edge (India), a prominent player in the E-Retail/E-Commerce sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results, declared on May 27, 2025, indicate a notable adjustment in its evaluation, with the score rising to 16 from 11 over the past three months.
The financial data reveals a significant growth in Profit After Tax (PAT), which reached Rs 440.07 crore, reflecting a substantial increase compared to the average PAT of Rs 163.14 crore from the previous four quarters. This marks the highest PAT recorded in the last five quarters, suggesting a positive near-term trend. Additionally, net sales have also reached a peak of Rs 749.63 crore, showing consistent growth over the last five quarters.

However, there are aspects that warrant attention. The company's non-operating income constitutes 72.73% of its Profit Before Tax (PBT), indicating a reliance on income from non-business activities, which may not be sustainable in the long run. This non-operating income has also hit a high of Rs 520.83 crore in the last five quarters.
