Intellect Design Arena, a midcap IT software company, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company’s stock has been given a ‘Sell’ call by MarketsMOJO.
According to the financials, Intellect Design has seen a negative performance in the quarter, with a score of -17 compared to -6 in the previous three months. This indicates a decline in the company’s financial health.
One of the major factors contributing to this decline is the Profit Before Tax (PBT) less Other Income, which has fallen by 55% to Rs 41.23 crore compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters at Rs 91.68 crore. The Profit After Tax (PAT) has also seen a decline of 30.1% to Rs 52.81 crore compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters at Rs 75.55 crore.
The company’s net sales for the quarter were at its lowest in the last five quarters at Rs 558.13 crore, showing a negative trend in the near term. The Operating Profit (PBDIT) has also seen a decline, with the lowest at Rs 80.99 crore in the last five quarters. This indicates a negative trend in the company’s operating efficiency.
The Operating Profit Margin has also hit its lowest at 14.51%, showing a deterioration in the company’s efficiency. The Non Operating Income, which is 40.91% of the PBT, is significantly high, indicating that the company’s income from non-business activities is not sustainable.
The company’s Earnings per Share (EPS) have also declined to its lowest at Rs 3.82 in the last five quarters, showing a decline in profitability and lower earnings for shareholders. The Non Operating Income has also seen a significant increase to its highest at Rs 28.54 crore in the last five quarters, which may not be sustainable in the long run.
Overall, Intellect Design Arena’s financial performance for the quarter ending September 2024 has been negative, with declining trends in key financial indicators. Investors and stakeholders should closely monitor the company’s future financial results to make informed decisions.
