Ircon International has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showing a quarterly net sales increase to Rs 3,412.07 crore, up 22.6% from the previous year. However, the Profit After Tax declined by 39.48% year on year, and interest expenses have risen significantly.
Ircon International, a midcap player in the construction industry, has recently released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The evaluation changes reflect a notable shift in the company's score, which has moved to -7 from -27 over the past three months.

The financial data indicates that Ircon International has achieved a quarterly net sales figure of Rs 3,412.07 crore, marking a growth of 22.6% compared to the average net sales of Rs 2,783.63 crore from the previous four quarters. This suggests a positive near-term sales trend for the company.

However, the financial results also highlight some challenges. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the latest six months stands at Rs 297.44 crore, showing a decline of 39.48% year on year, indicating a negative near-term PAT trend. Additionally, the interest expense has reached its highest level in the last five quarters at Rs 62.30 crore, reflecting an 11.31% increase quarter on quarter, which points to rising borrowing costs. Furthermore, non-operating income constitutes 39.22% of Profit Before Tax (PBT), raising concerns about the sustainability of the company's income sources.
