ISGEC Heavy Engineering Reports Mixed Financial Results Amidst Operational Efficiency Gains in March 2025

ISGEC Heavy Engineering has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing a mix of performance indicators. The company achieved its highest operating profit in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 152.05 crore, alongside an operating profit margin of 8.72%, indicating an enhancement in operational efficiency. Additionally, profit before tax, excluding other income, also peaked at Rs 127.09 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 29.14%. Profit after tax followed suit, amounting to Rs 91.21 crore, with a year-on-year increase of 27.9%. However, not all aspects of ISGEC Heavy's performance were favorable. The net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 1,744.40 crore, which represented a year-on-year decline of 6.61%. This decline in sales suggests challenges in revenue generation despite the positive trends in profitability metrics.
