JNK India Reports Strong Sales Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses in March 2025 Results

JNK India, a small-cap player in the industrial manufacturing sector, has released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The evaluation changes reflect a notable shift in its score, moving to -5 from -27 over the past three months.
The financial results indicate a strong performance in several key areas. Net sales reached Rs 190.94 crore, marking a growth of 49.1% compared to the average of the previous four quarters, which stood at Rs 128.05 crore. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) showed significant growth, reaching Rs 13.24 crore, a 57.5% increase over the average PAT of Rs 8.41 crore from the prior four quarters. Profit before tax (PBT), excluding other income, also demonstrated positive momentum, with a quarterly figure of Rs 13.05 crore, reflecting a 32.5% rise from the average of Rs 9.85 crore.

However, there are areas of concern as well. Interest expenses for the latest six months have risen to Rs 8.75 crore, indicating a 52.44% increase over the previous half-year period, which suggests higher borrowing costs. Additionally, non-operating income accounted for 40.87% of PBT, with the latest quarterly figure reaching Rs 9.02 crore, the highest in five quarters, raising questions about the sustainability of this income source.
