Kakatiya Cement Reports Declining Sales and Profitability Challenges in March 2025 Results

Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing significant challenges within its operations. The company's net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 19.85 crore, reflecting a notable decline compared to the average of Rs 25.06 crore over the previous four quarters. This trend indicates a concerning trajectory for near-term sales.
Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) was reported at Rs -11.63 crore, marking a substantial shift from the average PBT of Rs -5.29 crore in prior quarters. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) reached Rs -7.87 crore, a stark contrast to the average PAT of Rs -1.01 crore, highlighting a significant downturn in profitability.

Operating Profit (PBDIT) also hit a low of Rs -10.65 crore, the lowest in the last five quarters, while the Operating Profit Margin fell to -53.65%, indicating a decline in operational efficiency. Furthermore, Earnings per Share (EPS) was recorded at Rs -10.13, underscoring the challenges in generating returns for shareholders.

In light of these results, Kakatiya Cement has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score shifting to -25 from -30 over the past three months.
