Kanchi Karpooram has announced its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showing flat performance. The company faced challenges, with a 72.19% year-on-year decline in Profit After Tax and a decrease in net sales. Reliance on non-operating income raises concerns about its income sustainability.
Kanchi Karpooram, a microcap player in the commodity chemicals industry, has released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported a flat financial performance during this period. Notably, there has been an adjustment in its evaluation, with the score moving to -2 from -3 over the last three months.

The financial results reveal several challenges for Kanchi Karpooram. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the latest six months stands at Rs 1.26 crore, reflecting a significant decline of 72.19% year on year. This trend indicates a concerning trajectory for the company's profitability. Additionally, net sales for the quarter were recorded at Rs 33.71 crore, which represents a decline compared to the average net sales of Rs 37.21 crore from the previous four quarters. This suggests a negative near-term sales trend.

Furthermore, the Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) has reached its lowest point in the last five quarters at Rs -0.35 crore, indicating ongoing difficulties in core operations. The company also reported that non-operating income constituted 137.63% of PBT, with the highest quarterly figure of Rs 1.28 crore in the last five quarters. This reliance on non-business activities raises concerns about the sustainability of its income model.
