Karnataka Bank's financial results for the quarter ending March 2025 reveal a mixed performance. While the bank achieved its lowest Gross and Net NPA ratios, indicating improved asset quality, it also reported a decline in Profit Before Tax and Net Interest Income, highlighting ongoing challenges.
Karnataka Bank has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing notable shifts in its performance metrics. The bank's evaluation has undergone changes, with a revision in its score reflecting the challenges faced during this period.

On a positive note, Karnataka Bank has achieved its lowest Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) ratio at 3.08% over the last five quarters, indicating a decline in the proportion of stressed loans. Similarly, the Net NPA ratio stands at its lowest at 1.31%, suggesting an improvement in asset quality. Additionally, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has reached a high of 19.85%, showcasing a robust capital base relative to risk assets.

Conversely, the financial results also highlight areas of concern. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) has shown a significant decline, recorded at Rs -84.29 crore, which is markedly lower than the average of the previous four quarters. Profit After Tax (PAT) has also decreased to Rs 252.37 crore, reflecting a downward trend. Furthermore, the Net Interest Income has reached its lowest point at Rs 780.68 crore, indicating challenges in core business income.
