KM Sugar Mills Reports Significant Year-on-Year Growth in Financial Performance for December Quarter

KM Sugar Mills has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, showcasing notable developments in its performance metrics. The company has experienced a significant adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting a shift from -15 to 16 over the past three months.
The financial results indicate a remarkable year-on-year growth in key areas. Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) reached Rs 16.40 crore, marking an impressive increase of 2727.59%. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 12.64 crore, demonstrating a substantial growth of 369.9%. Net Sales also showed positive momentum, amounting to Rs 165.76 crore, which is a 45.54% increase compared to the previous year.

Additionally, the company's ability to manage interest payments has shown improvement, with the Operating Profit to Interest ratio reaching its highest level in the last five quarters at 9.14 times. The Operating Profit (PBDIT) also peaked at Rs 24.32 crore during this period, further indicating a favorable trend in operational efficiency.

However, it is important to note that interest expenses have risen, with a nine-month figure of Rs 13.53 crore reflecting a growth of 20.59%, suggesting increased borrowings.
