K.P. Energy Reports Strong Growth in Financial Results Amid Rising Interest Expenses in June 2025

K.P. Energy, a microcap company in the power industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results indicate a notable performance, particularly in key metrics. Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 33.51 crore, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of 121.63%. Similarly, net sales amounted to Rs 219.47 crore, showcasing a year-on-year increase of 72.57%. Profit After Tax (PAT) also demonstrated positive movement, standing at Rs 25.42 crore, which is a 39.6% rise compared to the previous year.
However, the financial landscape is not without its challenges. The interest expense for the nine-month period has risen to Rs 24.90 crore, marking a growth of 42.04% over the preceding nine months. This increase in interest costs suggests a rise in borrowings, which could impact future financial flexibility.

In light of these developments, K.P. Energy has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting a shift from 29 to 20 over the last three months.
