Laxmi Organic Industries Reports Significant Decline in Financial Performance for March 2025

Laxmi Organic Industries, a midcap player in the specialty chemicals sector, has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's financial performance, leading to an adjustment in its evaluation.
The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) for the quarter stands at Rs 12.14 crore, reflecting a significant decline compared to the average of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 45.78 crore. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also seen a reduction, reported at Rs 21.76 crore against an average of Rs 34.02 crore from the prior quarters.

Operating Profit Margin has reached its lowest point at 8.31%, indicating a decline in operational efficiency over the last five quarters. Additionally, net sales have dropped to Rs 709.69 crore, marking the lowest figure in the same timeframe and a decrease from the previous average of Rs 766.96 crore. The Operating Profit (PBDIT) is also at its lowest, recorded at Rs 59.00 crore.

These financial results have led to a revision in Laxmi Organic's score, reflecting the challenges faced in the recent quarter.
