Madhav Marbles Reports Mixed Q3 Results Amid Declining Sales and Liquidity Challenges

Madhav Marbles and Granites has released its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, showcasing a mixed performance within the ceramics and marble industry. The company reported its highest operating profit in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 1.06 crore, with an operating profit margin of 15.47%, indicating an enhancement in operational efficiency. Additionally, the profit before tax, excluding other income, also marked a peak at Rs -0.14 crore for the same period.
However, the results also highlight challenges for Madhav Marbles. The half-yearly net sales stood at Rs 12.78 crore, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 25.52%. Similarly, the profit after tax recorded a loss of Rs -0.66 crore, mirroring the negative trend in sales. Furthermore, the company's cash and cash equivalents have reached their lowest point in the last six half-yearly periods, suggesting a decline in short-term liquidity.

In light of these developments, Madhav Marbles has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score shifting to -5 from -7 over the past three months.
