Mahamaya Steel Industries, a microcap company in the ferrous metal industry, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company’s stock has been given a ‘Sell’ call by MarketsMOJO.

According to the financial report, Mahamaya Steel has seen a negative performance in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025. The company’s score has fallen to -13 from 0 in the last three months, indicating a decline in its financial health.

One of the major factors contributing to this decline is the decrease in net sales. The company’s net sales for the quarter were Rs 154.74 crore, which is a 20.1% decrease from the average net sales of the previous four quarters. This trend is expected to continue in the near term.

The company’s profit before tax (PBT) has also taken a hit, with a decrease of 97.8% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters. The PBT for the quarter was only Rs 0.03 crore. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) for the nine-month period has also decreased by 45.80% year on year.

In addition, Mahamaya Steel’s net sales and operating profit for the quarter were the lowest in the last five quarters, indicating a negative trend in these areas. The company’s PBT for the quarter was also the lowest in the last five quarters.

The declining profitability of the company is reflected in its earnings per share (EPS), which was the lowest in the last five quarters at Rs 0.14. This indicates that the company has not been able to generate enough earnings for its shareholders.

Overall, the financial results for the quarter ending September 2024 show a negative trend for Mahamaya Steel Industries. Investors are advised to take note of these results and make informed decisions regarding their investments in the company.
