Mahindra & Mahindra Reports Record Net Sales and Profit Amid Mixed Financial Indicators in May'25

Mahindra & Mahindra, a prominent player in the passenger cars segment of the automobile industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results, declared on May 5, 2025, indicate a notable evaluation change, with the stock's score adjusting to 5 from 12 over the past three months.
The financial data reveals several positive aspects for Mahindra & Mahindra. The company achieved its highest quarterly net sales at Rs 42,599.31 crore, marking consistent growth over the last five quarters. Additionally, the profit after tax (PAT) reached Rs 3,295.17 crore, also the highest in this timeframe, suggesting a favorable near-term trend in profitability. Furthermore, earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs 29.52, reflecting an increase in profitability and enhanced earnings for shareholders.

Conversely, the results also highlight areas of concern. The profit before tax, excluding other income, was recorded at Rs 3,925.07 crore, showing a decline compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Moreover, while non-operating income reached a peak of Rs 701.73 crore, its sustainability remains uncertain.
