Mangalam Organics Reports Strong Financial Growth Amid Rising Costs and Liquidity Concerns

Mangalam Organics, a microcap player in the commodity chemicals industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The company has experienced a notable shift in its evaluation, with a revision in its score reflecting the positive developments in its financial performance.
The financial results indicate a significant growth in key metrics. Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) reached Rs 10.65 crore, marking a substantial increase compared to the previous four quarters' average. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) surged to Rs 12.23 crore, showcasing a remarkable growth trajectory. Operating Profit (PBDIT) also hit a high of Rs 21.60 crore, demonstrating consistent improvement over the last five quarters.

Additionally, net sales for the latest six months amounted to Rs 296.34 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 32.83%. The operating profit margin reached its highest level in five quarters at 14.74%, indicating enhanced operational efficiency. Earnings per Share (EPS) also saw an uptick, reaching Rs 14.29, further underscoring the company's profitability.

However, the financial results also highlight some challenges, including rising interest costs and a decline in cash and cash equivalents, which may impact short-term liquidity.
