Manorama Industries Reports Strong Financial Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses in March 2025

Manorama Industries, a midcap player in the solvent extraction industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company has demonstrated a notable financial performance, with a revision in its score reflecting positive underlying trends.
The profit before tax less other income (PBT) reached Rs 45.56 crore, marking a significant growth compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 42.27 crore, showcasing a robust increase over the same period. Net sales also hit a record high of Rs 232.81 crore, continuing a consistent upward trajectory over the last five quarters.

Operating profit reached its peak at Rs 63.91 crore, with the operating profit margin improving to 27.45%. This indicates enhanced efficiency within the company. Earnings per share (EPS) also reached Rs 7.09, reflecting the company's ability to generate higher earnings for its shareholders.

However, it is worth noting that interest expenses have risen, indicating increased borrowings, and non-operating income has reached its highest level in five quarters, which may not be sustainable in the long term.
