Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Reports Strong Q4 Results with Significant Profit Growth

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders has reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, showcasing a very positive performance. The company's evaluation has undergone an adjustment, reflecting a score change from 15 to 23 over the past three months.
Key highlights from the financial results include a significant growth in Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT), which reached Rs 776.13 crore, marking a notable increase compared to the average of the previous four quarters. The inventory turnover ratio has also reached its highest level at 2.19 times, indicating improved efficiency in selling inventory. Additionally, net sales hit Rs 3,143.62 crore, the highest in the last five quarters, alongside an operating profit of Rs 817.10 crore, both contributing to a positive near-term trend.

Profit After Tax (PAT) also saw a substantial rise, reaching Rs 807.04 crore, reflecting a growth of 25.6% over the previous average. Earnings per Share (EPS) reached Rs 40.01, indicating enhanced profitability for shareholders. However, the debtors turnover ratio has shown a decline, suggesting a slower pace in settling debts.
