Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Efficiency Gains in Inventory Management, June 2025

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing notable shifts in its performance metrics. The company's evaluation has undergone an adjustment, with its score reflecting a decline to -11 from -4 over the past three months.
On a positive note, Mazagon Dock has demonstrated efficiency in managing its inventory and receivables. The inventory turnover ratio reached its highest level at 2.52 times, indicating an ability to sell inventory more rapidly. Similarly, the debtors turnover ratio also peaked at 10.71 times, suggesting improved efficiency in settling receivables.

Conversely, the financial results indicate challenges in profitability and sales. Profit Before Tax (PBT) has shown a significant decline, recorded at Rs 277.54 crore, which is a notable decrease compared to the average of the previous four quarters.
