Medplus Health Services Reports Strong Q3 Results with Improved Profit Metrics and Efficiency

Medplus Health Services has reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, showcasing a very positive performance. The company's evaluation has undergone an adjustment, with its score rising to 29 from 27 over the past three months.
Key highlights from the financial results indicate significant growth in profit metrics. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 44.08 crore, reflecting a notable increase compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 45.89 crore, also showing substantial growth over the same period. The operating profit margin has reached its highest level in five quarters at 8.49%, indicating improved efficiency in operations.

Additionally, Medplus Health has demonstrated enhanced inventory management, with an inventory turnover ratio of 4.47 times, the highest in the last five half-yearly periods. The company's ability to manage interest payments has also shown improvement, with an operating profit to interest ratio of 5.10 times.

However, it is worth noting that the increase in non-operating income, which reached Rs 12.52 crore, may not be sustainable in the long term.
