Metroglobal has announced its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a decline in Profit Before Tax and Profit After Tax compared to the previous year. Net sales also contracted, and the company's heavy reliance on non-operating income raises concerns about its business sustainability.
Metroglobal, a microcap company in the Trading & Distributors industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results, declared on August 12, 2025, indicate a notable shift in the company's financial standing, leading to an adjustment in its evaluation.

The Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter stands at Rs 3.02 crore, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 29.93%. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has decreased to Rs 3.97 crore, marking a significant year-on-year drop of 44.3%. Additionally, net sales for the quarter are reported at Rs 64.63 crore, which shows a contraction of 7.55% compared to the previous year.

Furthermore, the company's reliance on non-operating income, which constitutes 46.17% of its PBT, raises concerns about the sustainability of its business model. The Debtors Turnover Ratio has also reached its lowest point in the last five half-yearly periods, indicating a slowdown in the pace of settling debts.

These developments have contributed to a revision in Metroglobal's score, reflecting the challenges the company faces in its current operational environment.
