Northern ARC Capital Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Sales Growth and Profit Decline in December 2024
Northern ARC Capital has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024, revealing a mixed performance within the finance/NBFC sector. The company's net sales for the half-yearly period reached Rs 1,161.35 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 25.00%, indicating a positive near-term sales trend.However, the results also highlight challenges for Northern ARC. The profit before tax less other income (PBT) for the quarter was recorded at Rs 89.41 crore, which represents a decline compared to the average PBT of Rs 117.14 crore from the previous four quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 75.62 crore, down from an average of Rs 88.82 crore over the same period, suggesting a negative near-term trend in profitability. Additionally, the earnings per share (EPS) fell to Rs 4.69, marking the lowest level in the last five quarters.
In light of these results, Northern ARC has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting the recent changes in financial performance.
